School Speech Language Pathologist

Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with their students’ ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.

Speech Pathology Assistant

Under the direction and supervision of a Speech and Language Pathologist,the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) assists in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech/language therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to,direct activities with students designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication. The SLPA serves students who have identified speech and language disorders and may have other disabilities as well.

School Occupational Therapist

​A School Occupational Therapist assesses and develops intervention plans for students with disabilities to improve their participation in daily activities and school-related tasks. They collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement strategies to enhance students' functional skills, including gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care.
